SolisTherapies Gentle Healing for Mind Body and Spirit

When I was in my late teens I came across a fascinating book which talked about natural forms of healing. That book stayed with me for the rest of my life for I knew I had found something very special. And, even though I wasn't conscious of it at the time, I had found part of my life's purpose.

In the 80's, I lived in Barcelona for thirteen years working as an illustrator and writer of children's books; a job which I adored and was great fun. I also practised Yoga and Transcendental Meditation which taught me how essential relaxation is for a healthy body and mind.

Yoga made me want to learn more about natural therapies so I enrolled on a distance learning diploma course in Nutrition purely as a hobby, unaware that this was to be the first baby step on the path towards becoming a professional health care practitioner.

I returned to the UK in the 90's and settled in Cardiff.

In 2000, I qualified in Holistic Therapies after studying Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Swedish Body Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition. I am currently a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists).

I also trained as a Reiki practitioner and qualified in Indian Head Massage with Zodiac Complementary Therapies.

In 2001, I qualified as an EFT practitioner with AMT (Association of Meridian Therapies).

In 2001 I trained in ThermoAuricular Therapies (Hopi Candles) with Pressuredown Therapies.

In 2002 I qualified in Touch for Health Kinesiology with the International College of Kinesiology, Zurich, Switzerland.

In 2002 I studied VRT (Vertical Reflexology) and ART (Advanced Reflexology Techniques).

In 2007 I qualified with a Distinction in Hypnotherapy with Chrysalis Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy Training in Cardiff.

In 2008 I qualified with Pressuredown Therapies in Holistic Seated Upper Body Massage.

In 2009, I became an EFT Trainer with AAMET (the Advanced Association of Meridian Therapies). Currently, I am a Level 3 EFT Trainer.

In 2013, I completed the Eden Energy Medicine foundation course.

I work from my clinic in Cardiff. I also visit different offices in and around Cardiff to deliver On-Site Seated Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, EFT and Hypnotherapy services to employees. Please see Corporate page.
